01 In short
What does Exyconn build for education?
AI for education is a set of agents that take on the routine communication and paperwork of a school, college or coaching centre (admission questions, fee reminders, attendance messages to parents, doubt solving after class and first-pass marking) while teachers keep every academic decision. Exyconn designs, builds and runs them on your school ERP, learning management system (LMS) and WhatsApp Business account. Nothing your staff use today has to change.
Why institutions are doing this now
- Parents expect answers on WhatsApp, and the admissions season brings the same questions hundreds of times.
- Fee follow-ups take office staff weeks every term and are awkward to do by phone.
- Students get stuck on homework in the evening, when no teacher is available.
- Teachers lose evenings and weekends to checking answer sheets and writing feedback.
- Children's data needs parental consent and careful handling under India's DPDP Act, and a well-built system makes that easier to show.
02 The reality
Where an institution's hours actually go
Principals and centre heads describe the same week. Very little of it is teaching.
- E/01
Admission season overload
Fees, transport routes, the syllabus, "is there a waitlist". The front office answers the same questions on the phone, in person and on WhatsApp for weeks.
- E/02
Fee follow-ups by phone
Accounts staff work through a defaulter list one call at a time, and parents who meant to pay simply forgot the date.
- E/03
Parents finding out too late
An absence, a timetable change or a cancelled bus reaches parents through a diary note or a crowded class group, if at all.
- E/04
Doubts with nowhere to go
A student stuck on a problem at 9pm either waits until tomorrow's class or copies the answer. Teachers can't take those questions one by one.
- E/05
Marking that fills the weekend
Unit tests, assignments and practice papers pile up, and detailed written feedback is the first thing to be cut.
- E/06
Struggling students noticed late
Falling marks, missed classes and incomplete homework sit in different registers, so the pattern shows up only at the term report.
03 Use cases
Six jobs AI takes off your staff's plate
- 01
Admissions enquiries
Answers parents and applicants on WhatsApp, web chat and phone from your prospectus and fee structure, books campus visits and counselling calls, and logs every lead in your admissions CRM or ERP.
- 02
Fee reminders and payments
Sends polite reminders before and after each due date with a payment link, answers questions on the instalment breakdown and marks the payment against the student in the ERP.
- 03
Attendance and timetable alerts
Tells parents when a child is marked absent, a class is rescheduled or a bus is running late, using the data teachers already enter in the ERP.
- 04
AI tutor and doubt solving
Helps students work through a problem step by step from your own syllabus and notes, rather than handing over the answer, and tells the teacher which topics the class keeps asking about.
- 05
Assessment and grading help
Drafts question papers from the syllabus, does a first pass on objective and short answers against your marking scheme, and suggests feedback. The teacher reviews and finalises every mark.
- 06
Student progress analytics
Brings marks, attendance and homework together per student and class, and flags students whose results or attendance are slipping so a teacher can step in early.
04 A day with it running
One day at a 1,200-student CBSE school
Follow a weekday in the second term. Each moment lights the part of the school the agent is working on.
-
08:20
Absences reach parents on time
Class teachers mark attendance in the ERP. Parents of absent children get a message within minutes, and two reply that their child is unwell.
-
10:00
Fee reminders, not phone calls
Families with the third instalment due next week get a reminder with a payment link. Payments are marked in the ERP as they come in.
-
13:30
Admission questions handled
Twenty parents ask about next year's Class 1 intake. The agent answers from the prospectus, books five campus visits and adds each lead to the admissions list.
-
16:00
Unit tests marked in draft
Class 8 science papers are scanned. Objective answers are marked against the scheme and short answers get suggested scores for the teacher to confirm or change.
-
19:45
A doubt solved at home
A Class 10 student is stuck on a quadratic equations problem. The tutor walks her through it one step at a time from the school's own worksheet.
-
21:30
Early warnings for class teachers
Students whose marks have dropped across two tests or who have missed several days are listed for each class teacher, ready for tomorrow.
05 How it connects
Built on the systems you already run
06 By institution
What it looks like for your kind of institution
Parents are the audience
Schools
In K-12 most messages go to parents, and consent and tone matter. We usually start with attendance alerts and fee reminders from your ERP, then add admissions and teacher tools.
- Attendance, fee and transport messages to parents
- Admission season enquiries and campus visits
- Parental consent recorded for each purpose
Doubts and batches at scale
Coaching & test prep
Coaching centres run large batches with heavy doubt traffic before exams. A tutor trained on your own material answers doubts at any hour and shows faculty which topics need another class.
- Doubt solving from your notes and question banks
- Batch, fee and test-schedule updates
- Topic-wise weak areas for each batch
Adult learners, digital first
Colleges & EdTech
Colleges and online course providers deal with applicants from many places and learners who study at odd hours. Agents run admissions, course support inside the LMS and progress nudges.
- Applicant queries and document checklists
- Course assistant inside your LMS
- Completion and drop-off reporting
07 Rollout
Live within a term, not a year
We start where office staff lose the most time, usually parent communication, and add teaching tools once teachers have tried them.
-
01 · Weeks 1–2
Map the school year
We list your ERP, LMS and fee setup, read a sample of parent and student messages, and agree what the agent says, what it never says, and how consent is recorded.
-
02 · Weeks 3–5
Parent messages first
Attendance alerts, fee reminders and admission answers go live on WhatsApp, with the office checking messages in the first weeks.
-
03 · Weeks 6–10
Add the classroom tools
The tutor and grading help are piloted with a few teachers and classes, using your own syllabus, before they reach every grade.
-
04 · Ongoing
Run and improve
We review conversations and teacher feedback, update content for each new term and session, and add progress reports once a term's data is in.

09 FAQ
Questions schools and colleges ask us
Will AI replace teachers?
No. It takes over reminders, routine questions and first-pass marking. Teachers set the content, review every grade and decide what to do about a student who is struggling. The tutor is built to explain steps, not to do homework for the student.
Which school ERP and LMS can it work with?
Any ERP or LMS with an API or a regular export, including common Indian school ERPs, Moodle and Google Classroom. Where there is no API we work from scheduled exports. We confirm what your system allows before we start.
How do you handle children's data?
Under India's DPDP Act 2023, processing a child's data needs verifiable consent from a parent or guardian, and tracking or targeted advertising aimed at children is not allowed. We record consent per purpose, keep data in an environment set up for your institution with role-based access and an audit log, and never use it for marketing. For overseas students we follow the GDPR where it applies.
Can parents and students use regional languages?
Yes. The agent replies in the language a parent writes in, such as Hindi, Marathi, Tamil or Bengali, and the tutor can explain in the student's medium of instruction.
What if the tutor gives a wrong answer?
It answers from your own syllabus and material and shows where the explanation came from. Students can flag an answer, flagged answers go to the subject teacher, and corrections are added so the same mistake isn't repeated.
What does it cost?
It depends on student numbers, campuses and the systems we connect. Most institutions start with parent communication at a fixed price for the first phase. Tell us about your institution and we'll quote it.
